Darwin Inman has more than 20 years of experience in Commodities operations, sales and marketing both domestically and internationally. He has developed a strong network of suppliers and buyer relationships across the globe and is an active member of a variety of Industry Associations.
Darwin is the owner of Inman Commodities International, an International and Domestic Tree Nut Brokerage, brokers primarily almonds and walnuts throughout North America and the world. Inman Commodities International customer base includes small to large industrial buyers, foreign importers that sell to large grocery outlets and restaurants, as well as buyers who supply major box retailers including Costco, Tesco and Trader Joe’s.
Prior to forming Inman Commodities International, Darwin served as Sales and Marketing Manager for Harris Woolf Almonds, where he was responsible for the worldwide marketing of the Harris Woolf brand.
Before Harris Woolf, Darwin was Director of Operations/Sales and Marketing for Gold Hills Nut Company. In addition to leading international and domestic sales, he provided overall plant oversight and administered the grower program.
Darwin’s commodities career began at Orchard-Rite/Pacific Distribution, Inc., where he drove marketing and direct sales activities. During this time, he established relationships with growers, dealers and industry associates – all of whom helped to fuel his successful career growth in the industry.
